About The Design Gallery
The Design Gallery is Australia's most curated fashion and textile sourcing event — and it was built because the industry needed something better.
Not another trade show floor. Not a volume-driven expo. A deliberate, design-led marketplace where the right exhibitors meet the right buyers, and where real business gets done.
Founded from deep roots in print, textile sourcing and creative agency work, TDG was created to bridge a gap that has long existed in the Australian market — a premium space where design studios, ethical manufacturers, production partners and commercial buyers could meet in one elevated, intentional environment.
Two days. Sydney. October 2026.
Why TDG Exists
Australia has mass-market trade fairs and generic sourcing expos. What it hasn't always had is a curated, design-led platform that treats sourcing as strategy — and design as its driving force.
TDG exists to close that gap. To connect premium studios with serious buyers. To bring ethical, design-conscious manufacturers into the same room as the brands who need them. To give the Australian fashion industry a sourcing experience that matches its ambition.
In 2025, TDG welcomed 675 industry professionals — a 61% increase on the previous year. The Forum launched to a packed room. The conversations were real, the connections were commercial, and the industry showed up.
In 2026, we go further.

Curated, Not Crowded
Every exhibitor at TDG is handpicked. There are no filler stands, no volume plays, no compromise on quality. If you're on the floor, you belong there — and every buyer who walks through the door knows it.
This year's event expands to include a dedicated manufacturing and production segment — connecting Australian brands with pre-vetted, ethical, low-MOQ manufacturers who understand what local labels actually need. Alongside premium design studios, trend platforms, textile innovators and technology leaders, TDG 2026 is the most complete sourcing environment we've built.

Our Purpose
TDG exists to raise the standard of sourcing in Australia. To shift the industry away from offshore dependency and toward strategic, design-aligned partnerships. To create a space where emerging designers and established brands alike can find the suppliers, manufacturers and collaborators they need to grow — without flying to Paris or New York to do it.
This is the room where Australian fashion does business.
We'll see you in October.
